about

Physical version available from Voices of the Ainur from Friday 15th April - voicesoftheainur.bandcamp.com/album/vota-052-s-t

Ferrydor Archive's side of the split available at their Bandcamp - ferrydorarchive.bandcamp.com/album/from-fen-to-fell-split-with-chattox

My side of the split is an expanded version of 'From The Moorlands'. With the addition of some field recordings from up Pendle Hill and some organ interludes, I have been able to create what I wanted to create: a continuous piece of music inspired by two of the most significant events in the history of Pendle Hill. This is as much about George Fox's ascent of the hill in 1652, and the vision he experienced on its summit that led to the founding of Quakerism, as it is about the Pendle witch trials of 40 years earlier.
